LDS volunteers collect for Hastings food bank.
Abouyt 80 LDS members in the Hawkes bay area spent saturday morning as part of the nationwide Helping Hands projects. They collected food for the Salvation army food bank. Bright yellow vests in Hastings, Napier and Flaxmere as they knocked on doors asking for tins of food for the needy. June was a needful month with seasonal employment winding down for many area residents.
